The Utah League of Cities and Towns (ULCT) is holding an essay contest for fourth and seventh graders throughout Utah with a theme “Why I Like My Community.”  Cash prizes will be awarded to students and their schools.  First place winners will receive $100 and their school $1,000; second prize $75 to the student and $750 to their school; and third place $50 and $500 to their school.  The following link will provide contest information and an entry form:  http://www.ulct.org/ulct-youth-essay-contest/.  We encourage all eligible students to participate!
